Cat Collars

We make collars for cats in two styles: breakaway buckle (with an attached bell) and standard quick-release buckle. Both are available in the same fun patterns as our a tail we could wag dog collars, leashes, and belts – so now your whole family can match!

Breakaway buckles are designed for safety. If a breakaway collar gets caught on something, the buckle can be pulled open, allowing the cat to break away safely. We fit every cat safety collar with a bell charm, which serves both to help you keep track of your little trickster and to warn local wildlife that the tiny predator may be on the hunt.

Our extra-small dog and cat collars use a standard quick-release buckle. Without the breakaway safety feature, these collars are better suited to walks on leash, and for cats that are at low risk of getting snagged.

As with all a tail we could wag products, our collars start their lives in the mountains of Guatemala, where ethnic Mayan crafters create the beautiful cotton textiles using traditional weaving techniques. At Auburn Leathercrafters, we are proud to partner with these talented artisans, and we turn their art into completed products using only high-quality materials and parts, all finished by hand with care in our workshop in the Finger Lakes region of Central New York.
